Retail/e-Commerce Shipping and Receiving Assistant – Goleta, CA

The Shipping and Receiving Assistant is responsible for all activities related to product processing, distribution, storage, and shipment.

This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and the S & R Assistant Manager, or Specialists in the absence of the Manager. 

Responsibilities and Accountability:

  • Receive, distribute, store, and ship parts, products and supplies in an efficient, timely and accurate manner according to procedures.
  • Record all transactions accurately.
  • Maintain a secure warehouse in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to safety standards.
  • Communicate and collaborate with members of other departments as required to meet objectives of S & R Department.
  • Fulfill e-commerce orders

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills with familiarity with Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • A commitment of 25-40 hours a week with open availability including weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to load, unload, move or store items for receiving, shipping, or inventory purposes and the ability to use a hand truck or other moving and lifting equipment.
  • Fine motor skills and attention to detail, and ability to focus on specific project for extended period of time.
  • Current driver’s license in the State of California with clean record

Related Experience:

  • Clothing, footwear, or accessory retail sales or operations
  • Warehouse processing, Shipping UPS, FedEx, USPS, International

Pay Rates and Benefits:

  • $8.75 – $13/Hour experience dependent.

ASSITANT SALES MANAGER - Goleta, CA

The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for all activities related to sales operations and customer service distribution, storage, and shipment.

This position reports to the Sales Manager or the Director of Operations in the absence of the Sales Manager

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Training, coaching and counseling of Sales Team
  • Developing staff
  • Interviewing prospective team members
  • Attending and participating in Management and staff meetings
  • Participating or managing special projects and events
  • Researching the Competition
  • Performing and maintaining correct
  • Performing and maintaining correct
    • Sales operations
    • Opening Procedures
    • Closing Procedures
    • Emergency Procedures
