Sundance Beach is sad to inform you that we will not be hosting our Annual Surf Video Contest this year. We ARE planning on coming back Next Year bigger and BETTER!!!
We have received some emails and calls about the contest so we felt it only fair to let everyone know what is going on.
It has already been a HUGE surf season and you all probably have some amazing footage shot. Although we cannot do the whole event with the vendor participation and judging we would like to offer you the opportunity to still turn in a video if you have one made. There won’t be any prize money or any winner but all the videos have the opportunity to be shown on the big screen on the Men’s side of the store and on our YouTube site through the month of June so there is still the chance for exposure. Since the event usually takes place in March the video deadline will be March 5th 2010. The same rules and regulations apply (see rules and regulations for more details), no rude or crude content. The consent form and rules still must be signed and turned in with the video or we will not be able to play it. Sundance Beach has the right to refuse to play any videos not following the rules or that are unsuitable for the store environment.
