Originated in 1984 by founder, Janette Van Doren. Sunsets was created as a strictly separates enterprise in a time when buying swimwear in two different pieces was virtually unheard of. Van Doren paved the way for what is still recognized as one of the most innovative advances in the swimwear market today. In 1987, Van Doren's son-in-law, Greg Stager established ownership of the family run business and has continued the tradtition of success for over 27 years.

Sunsets caters to a diverse following of customers ranging from sizes extra small to 22, and cup sizes from A to E. The collection consists of 30 timeless silhouettes in over 20 unique prints and solids allowing customers to mix and match to find the ideal suit to fit their style. Sunsets is currently carried in over 1,000 specialty swimwear boutiques nationwide and online retailers.
